Season 02, Episode 11 – “Feed the world”
In a mini special The Grand Tour decides to tackle world hunger by transporting fish from the bountiful coast of Mozambique to the impoverished interior using a Nissan pick-up, a Mercedes 200T, and a TVS Star motorcycle. Along the way they encounter mud, accidents, and fish preservation issues on what turns out to be an epic, challenging and extraordinary journey.
Season 02, Episode 10 – “Oh, Canada”
The Grand Tour tests the Alfa Romeo Stelvio, Porsche Macan, and Range Rover Velar in the rugged and challenging landscape of Canada. Back in the UK, Jeremy conducts a legally perilous test of the Tesla Model X and Rory McIlroy takes on Paris Hilton in Celebrity Face Off.
Season 02, Episode 09 – “Breaking, badly”
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May attempt to build a road-legal amphibious car with which they can smash a British water speed record. Elsewhere in this show, Jeremy looks back at two 1990s supercars, the Jaguar XJ220 and Bugatti EB 110 SS, and Celebrity Face Off finds the world’s fastest magician as Dynamo goes head-to-head against Penn and Teller.
Season 02, Episode 08 – “Blasts from the past”
Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond tour Europe in brand new British sports cars built to designs from the 1950s, an undertaking spoilt by the arrival of James May in a modern Honda Civic Type R. Back in the UK, Jeremy is at the track to test the Ford GT, and Celebrity Face Off sees Stewart Copeland from The Police go head-to-head against Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason in a battle of the drummers.
Season 02, Episode 07 – “It’s a Gas, Gas, Gas”
In this episode, Richard Hammond and James May work out that the average motorist loses 36 days of their lives filling up with fuel. The pair vow to do something about it using their skill and ingenuity to invent a system for filling up on the move. Also in this show; Hammond is at the Eboladrome track to test a new, hardcore version of the Lamborghini Huracan called the Performante, Meanwhile, Jeremy Clarkson tells us the story behind one of motorsport’s greatest battle; the epic struggle between the mighty Audi Quattros and the underdog Lancia 037s in the 1983 world rally championship. Plus, Celebrity Face Off finds the world’s fastest person who makes a living hitting or strangling other men, as boxer Anthony Joshua goes head-to-head against WWE star Bill Goldberg.
Season 02, Episode 06– “Jaaaaaaaags”
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May set out to prove that old Jaguars are not only stylish and roguish, but also strong and reliable with a road trip across Colorado. Along the way they set laps around a punishing dirt track and test 0-100-0 performance at America’s highest commercial airport before embarking on one of the most perilous challenges they’ve ever attempting; avoiding the expense of lift passes and ski equipment by going skiing in their cars. Alsoin this show, Celebrity Face Off finds the world’s fastest actor whose middle name is George by pitting Luke Evans against Kiefer Sutherland.
Season 02, Episode 05 – “Up, Down and Round the Farm”
Jeremy Clarkson makes his own take on a Ken Block-style car skidding video, James May tests the new VW Up GTI at the Eboladrome, and Richard Hammond smashes around Dubai in a high-powered tank called the Ripsaw. Plus, Preacher star Dominic Cooper goes against comedian Bill Bailey in Celebrity Face Off.
Season 02, Episode 04 – “Unscripted”
In this episode Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May attempt to show what would happen if The Grand Tour made a completely unscripted film with no pre-arranged locations, no set-up stunts, and no planned incidents. All they agree is that the starting point will be in Croatia, where Jeremy arrives in an Audi TT RS, Richard turns up with a not-at-all-comparable Ariel Nomad, and James brings along an old Lada which he has decided to turn into a fire engine. What follows is a demonstration of why some kind of script is generally a good thing. Also in this show, Richard takes the new McLaren 720S to the Eboladrome and in Celebrity Face Off Michael Ball goes head-to-head against Alfie Boe to find the world’s fastest classical singer with an interesting connection to the British motor industry.
Season 02, Episode 03 – “Bah humbug-atti”
In this show Jeremy blasts from the South of France to the Alps and then on to Turin in the 1479 HP Bugatti Chiron, James races the Kia Stinger GT against skateboarders, and Richard tries to relieve the boredom of office lunchtimes with the all-new sport of car park racing. Plus, actor Hugh Bonneville goes against naturalist Casey Anderson to find the world’s fastest person who lives with a bear.
Season 02, Episode 02 – “The Fall Guys”
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May partake in a public transportation challenge from New York City to Niagara Falls. Clarkson drives the all-new, 647 horsepower Ford GT, May takes public transportation May who, using only public transportation complicated due to being accompanied by Hammond. Also in this show, Jeremy tests the Mercedes-AMG GT R and another burning question is answered by Celebrity Face Off as cricketer Kevin Pietersen and baseball’s Brian Wilson go head-to-head to find the world’s fastest who makes a living from hitting and throwing and catching small balls.
